Exmoor Society Pinnacle Award 2017

Exmoor Society Pinnacle Award 2017

I am very pleased and honoured to announce that I have won the Exmoor Society Pinnacle award 2017. Please read their press release all about it! I shall be attending the Exmoor Society AGM on the 16th September at the Brushford Village Hall to receive my award.  This opportunity is opening up new ventures within my woodland management business and I look forward to sharing my progress with you in the future.

As part of the award the Exmoor Society are providing me with a grant of £3000 which I am eternally grateful for. This injection to my business will allow me to pursue a new avenue to manage and care for the trees and woodlands on Exmoor. With this money I shall be purchasing portable milling equipment, powered by chainsaw, which will enable me to process and better utilise timber on Exmoor and surrounding ares. Trees can vary from those in a household garden, transformed into a garden furniture, to estate woodlands which can be used for fencing and building materials for example. The possibilities are endless! If you have any ideas or questions about the future your trees please do not hesitate to complete the contact form and I will get back to you as soon as I come back from the woods.
